My yoga journey began when I was just getting out of high school and going into college, where I studied exercise science. I have always had a passion for all different forms of movement, anything that keeps me active I am open to try. I love exploring different classes in the area - Krav Maga, kick-boxing, Pilates, cycling. After taking my first yoga class in 2014, I immediately fell in love with the way it made me feel afterwards, internally and externally. I received my 200hr certification through Midtown Yoga 200 hour teacher training with Emily Wallace. Yoga has become so much of than just the physical practice for me. I believe that the practice of yoga on and off the mat is truly healing. It has taught me how to connect with myself, to appreciate the body and become aware of the mind and the noise it creates. My hope is to help others leave class feeling a little more grounded, a little more grateful, and a lot more loved. I’m not practicing yoga, you can find me anywhere outside - hiking trails, paddle boarding, or sun bathing on my porch with a good book in hand!
