Sakyong Mipham
Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, Cammie loves to call Durham home. A track athlete at 10 years old, she graduated from The University of North Carolina in 1990 earning an All-American status. She began searching for an activity that could alleviate the pain in her arthritic knees and found yoga! Her daily practice was paramount in calming her anxiety and she decided to embrace the practice by completing her 200 YTT in the spring of 2021. Cammie loves the combination of strength training, mini flows, and long juicy asanas to open up channels of places that feel “stuck.” She promises all of this in her strength classes.
When she’s not teaching, Cammie loves spending time with her four adult children and finds immense joy in teaching preschool. As a teacher for the past 18 years, you can bet breathwork and poses will be taught to her little ones!

Wrightsville Beach, NC grounding myself in the sand and looking at the ocean.
