A native of Virginia but a Raleigh resident for several years, Anita has been practicing yoga for 6 years. Anita discovered yoga during a time when it was most needed and has found the many benefits of yoga including stress relief, mental clarity, flexibility, improved posture and better sleep. Anita aims to provide a safe and nurturing space for all people, and believes that everyone can benefit from yoga. Anita has a true desire and passion to provide an open and welcoming space for all yogis. Anita balances sharing her passion of yoga with others at Midtown Yoga, while also working full time in the tech space. When she’s not in the studio, you can find Anita spending time with her family, reading, walking along paths that end at coffee shops or wineries, traveling to the beach, or, of course, watching reality tv.
