A native of the Washington, DC suburbs, Dominique began an off-again, on-again relationship with yoga in 2009. She came to Midtown by happenstance while dealing with both personal and professional struggles, and the practice sent her a message that was heard loud and clear. What also drew her in is how much yoga encourages staying curious and being a lifetime student! Dominique also has an appreciation for the strength yoga has shown she possesses inside and out, plus for finally guiding her to the beauty within stillness. A recent MY YTT graduate, Dominique hopes that you leave her class challenged, fulfilled, and with a little bit of relief...because sometimes, a little relief can be everything. When not at Midtown, Dominique enjoys spending time with her pets Mashu and Boba, writing poetry, reading, playing video games, and checking out the local food scene with her besties.
