10 Things to Do After a Midtown Yoga Class

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost one year since Midtown Yoga joined the North Hills community. The area around our studio has so much to offer whether you’re looking to indulge in a post-class cocktail, sweet treat, or even some retail therapy. Here are ten of our favorite North Hills spots within walking distance of the studio that we recommend visiting after your next Midtown Yoga class!

Happy and Hale

A place that feels like home and they know you by name.

Happy and Hale offers a menu full of yummy treats from Falafel Bowls to smoothies that will rejuvenate you from the inside out. Their menu also includes vegan options and you have to try their vegan peanut butter brownies! And lucky you - as an appreciation for being a Midtown Yoga student you get a discount! My favorite is the Incredibowl with extra squash and avocado cilantro dressing. What's yours?

Vita Vite

This elegant wine bar is the spot to be for a relaxing night to sip and nibble on their breathtaking charcuterie boards. (Breathtaking because you are too busy inhaling that cheese).

It’s elegant enough for business gatherings or just the right ambiance for a fun girls night out. Guys, you are welcome too—they have beer options! Vita Vite hosts local art throughout their space that adds a fun, local ambiance. Vita Vite comes from the Italian words for “life” and “vine” – the idea that life revolves around wine and food, bringing people together in a common space to appreciate the beautiful things that can enrich life.

CycleBar

CycleBar is a premium indoor cycling boutique with energizing rides tailored to all fitness and experience levels.

Get your spin on! We love CycleBar and you will, too. CycleBar will inspire, motivate, and invigorate you to face your day. “We pride ourselves on ensuring the details of your ride are taken care of so you can clip in, clear your mind, dig deep, and Rock Your Ride.” And lucky you, as an appreciation for being a Midtown Yoga student you get a discount!

Kilwins

Kilwins has so much to offer from caramel apples and layers and layers of fudge to their own original ice cream and cases of chocolate sweets to pick from.

I can smell the waffle cones from here. This chocolate shop will keep you coming back time and time again. Kilwins is a family-owned franchise that has been melting and making chocolate since 1947. We love their Core Purpose, “To create enjoyment and make people happy” and Core Values, “Treat others as you want to be treated, do you best, and have fun.”

Chuy’s

This fun Tex-Mex restaurant will make you feel warm and welcome.

At the heart of the North Hills Park you can’t miss Chuy’s, a fan favorite. Don’t get us started on the bottomless Jalapeño Ranch Dip and chips, this spot has so much to offer, from the “Big As Yo’ Face Burrito” and our personal favorite and perfect winter day go-to, the Chicken Tortilla Soup! You will love the warm ambiance of this North Hills favorite. Be sure to check out the outdoor patio that overlooks Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park.

Level7 Rooftop Bar

Immerse yourself within the beautiful artistic environment, lounge and relax into the plush seating, and lose yourself in the live entertainment.

Need a fun, swanky night out? Ascend the glass elevator to see sweeping city views of the North Hills neighborhood at Level7, the rooftop lounge at the AC Hotel Raleigh North Hills. Level7 has sought the fine details in every corner of this space so on your next night out in Midtown, make sure to stop in for a night cap and check out the vibes that extend into their outdoor terrace covered and heated to be enjoyed year round.

Massage Envy Spa

We all need a little tender loving care from time to time.

Massage Envy is just a short walk from Midtown Yoga and the perfect addition to any day. It rejuvenates and restores balance to your body and being, making you better for all the things life throws your way. Massage Envy Spa offers flexible appointment times to fit the busiest of schedules and professional massage therapists to customize the perfect massage designed to fit your life all at a great price!

Kendra Scott

When you think of jewelry does the line “frost yourself” from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days pop into your head or is that just us?

We all know Kendra Scott for the beautiful pieces of jewelry she makes and the beautiful color bar. Through her love of natural gemstones and fondness of nature, she’s created a collection of jewelry with unique use of color and materials. Her collections are timeless pieces that you will want to keep adding to your own collection. The Kendra Scott company maintains a focus on its customers and the causes close to their hearts, abiding by the mantra, “What Matters to You Matters to Us.”

Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park

Nestled in the heart of North Hills, this park has endless opportunity and is the ultimate outdoor gathering spot in North Hills.

Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park has hosted music concerts, yoga events, fitness challenges, and is a perfect gathering spot for Midtown visitors and residents. The next time you are in North Hills, be sure to stop on the lawn for an afternoon lunch, book break or bring your own mat and find your flow amongst this scenic spot.

Kings Dining & Entertainment

You may not be able to tell from the outside but Kings offers a unique combination of dining and entertaining experience unlike any other.

Start with one of Kings’ mouth-watering appetizers such as the Buffalo Wontons, Avocado Toast, or Bang Bang Calamari and then take your selection from a wide variety menu to include Crisp Salads, House Smoked Ribs, Fresh Salmon, and so much more. Don’t forget to top off your night on the lanes for a fun evening of bowling or gather with friends around the pool tables all while enjoying their wide selection of premium cocktails & craft beers!
