“Everything in life got its purpose, find its reason In Every Season”

—Bob Marley

Rikki grew up in Connecticut and has been practicing yoga consistently since high school. She attributes a lot of her yogic growth, specifically in the other limbs of the yoga practice, to her time spent at Midtown (and in therapy) when she moved to North Carolina in 2021. Yoga for Rikki is a lifestyle, it reminds her to slow down, connect her mind and body, and cultivate a sense of inward awareness and acceptance. She studied Animal Science with a double minor in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at UConn, and just graduated with her Masters in Marine Science from UNC Chapel Hill. She is deeply passionate about environmental justice and ocean/coastal conservation. In her free time, you’ll find her practicing at Midtown, walking her rescue pup Indigo, reading, or adventuring outdoors. Rikki hopes her students leave her class feeling grounded and having learned something about themselves or their practice.
