Olivia first walked into Midtown Yoga in June 2018 looking for a new way to improve both her physical and mental health. After years of trying different workout programs and classes, she always felt out of place or like she didn’t belong in those spaces. It wasn’t until taking a class at Midtown Yoga that she truly felt welcomed and comfortable in her own body. Additionally, after struggling with anxiety and depression for many years, she quickly realized that yoga helped alleviate a lot of those feelings. This practice truly changed Olivia’s life for the better, and her desire to help others have a similar experience was her motivation to become a teacher. After completing Midtown Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training in August 2021, Olivia’s practice and passion for yoga have become stronger than ever and she is so excited to be a part of the MY community. Off the mat, you can find Olivia working her 9-5 job in content marketing, binging true crime documentaries, or meeting up with friends. She can’t wait to see you in class on your best or worst days, and to share all that this beautiful practice has to offer with you.
