Maggie grew up in Wake Forest, NC, and currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC while she completes her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She originally found her way to yoga in 2019 through a friend. After some years away spent running and strength training, Maggie re-discovered her love for yoga in 2022. From there, her passion deepened and there was no taking her away from the mat since. Yoga atop of her strength training regimen became the perfect blend for her to become stronger in not only her body, but her mind as well. The philosophy Maggie has come to embody is that movement is medicine. She completed the Strength Training Teacher Intensive at Midtown Yoga in the summer of 2024. Maggie looks forward to further learning and growing as an instructor. Outside of the studio, you can find her snuggled up with her cat Tigger, consumed by a good book, or out and about exploring.
