"To know even one life has breathed easier because youhave lived—that is to have succeeded.."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Lindsey grew up in New Hampshire, always chasing any sport or activity that would get her moving. This love for movement eventually led to a four-year lacrosse career at Duke University and those experiences shaped her mindset around discipline, resilience and mental grit. She now works as a medical student at the Duke University School of Medicine. Lindsey discovered Midtown’s strength classes as a welcome escape from the all-consuming pace of medical school, drawn to the heated, challenging workouts that felt like both a physical test and a mental reset. Teaching strength has reawakened her athletic drive while allowing her to combine her passions for mind, body and medicine. On the mat, she hopes to help students discover the physical power and mental clarity that movement can cultivate, and how those benefits can carry into many areas of life. Outside the studio and hospital, she loves spending time with her fiancé and friends, staying active outdoors, catching up with family back home, and exploring coffee shops around Durham.
