Kaylis discovered yoga just this past year, and it didn’t take long before she fell in love. Drawn in by the balance of mindful movement and physical strength, she found that yoga offered exactly what she didn’t know she was missing—a powerful connection between body and mind. The practice quickly became a grounding force in her life, leading her to complete her 200-hour yoga certification at Midtown Yoga so she could share that same connection with others. Currently a Pre-Vet student at NC State, Kaylis finds that yoga brings a much-needed sense of calm and clarity to her busy academic life. When not on the mat or studying animal science, you can find Kaylis enjoying the outdoors, relaxing with her cat + dog or getting food with friends. .
